I’m Dr. Crouch, a child psychologist and the author of the Pixel’s Big Books series. I created this series with my eleven-year-old son Denali, who is the inspiration and voice behind Pixel. Together, we made the books easy to understand, fun to use, and a great resource for therapists, parents, and anyone who wants to help a kid understand their feelings.

I am also the author of the Beyond Belief book series for middle readers (ages 8 to 12). This fun mystery series helps kids understand complicated critical thinking concepts, like confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance, all with fun adventure stories that are hard to put down. Written for reluctant readers, the Beyond Belief series teaches valuable information in a way that even the most finicky kid will love.
